Cancellations and Refunds

Students may cancel an unapproved package Booking Request or an approved package Booking on or before 15 days from the start date of the package. All cancellations must be made through the Local Buddie Platform. Cancellation submitted solely to your Local Buddie Manager will not be considered. Cancellation submitted Local Buddie via Emails , TEXT messages will not be considered. Your cancellation will be reviewed and determined by Local Buddie in accordance with the Student Cancellation Policy Interpretation and determination of available refunds or credits will be made by Local Buddie in its sole discretion. Local Buddie reserves the right to refuse and deny a refund or credit for any reason at any time. Any available refund will be promptly credited to your account for future use or returned to the same credit card within 21 days, as stated in the Student Cancellation Policy. Students are responsible to inform Local Buddie in case the credit card used is no longer valid. Local Buddie will not be responsible for any loss of funds due to an invalid card refund process.

In addition, Local buddie reserves the right to terminate without compensation a Student’s package Booking if the Student is found to have behaved with misconduct. Misconduct includes theft, abuse of property, verbal or physical abuse of persons, smoking inside the Accommodation, alcohol or drug use, failure to adhere to federal, state or local laws and regulations, and as per the Local Buddie terms and conditions. In addition, Local Buddie may inform your advisor at the College you are attending. No refunds whatsoever will be paid to Students who have been found to have behaved with misconduct.

Student Cancellation Policy - This Student Cancellation Policy outlines the charges and refunds for Students when an unapproved package Booking Request or  approved package Booking is cancelled by the Student.  A reservation can be cancelled by logging into your Local Buddie Platform account.  Local Buddie will use reasonable efforts to resolve any dispute or problem between a Student and Local Buddie . Local Buddie has the final decision on all disputes, problems, charges and refunds, and Local Buddie decision will be binding on the Student. If you have any comments or questions about this Student Cancellation Policy, feel free to contact us via email at support@localbuddie.com. Student cannot alter/Modify/cancel the individual services of the package and are allowed to cancel the complete package. If student does not utilise any services of the package , no refund shall be applicable for the services not utilised by the Student.

A)    If Student cancels Booking Request before package approval by Local Buddie, then student can claim 100% refund ( less any bank charges or other transactional fees +5% Service Charge )

B)    If Student cancels Booking on or before 15 days from the start date of the package, then student can claim 70% refund ( less any bank charges or other transactional fees + 5% Service Charge)

C)    If Student cancels Booking anytime between 14 days from the start date of the package, then student can claim no refund.

Package Booking Change Policy –

Students may request changes to a Package Booking through the Local Buddie Platform on or before 15 days from the start date of the package. Changes may refer to dates, and meal plans. Any change request is subject to the Local Buddie’s approval. If Local Buddie accepts the request, the package booking will be changed and your payment will be updated accordingly. If the request is declined or Local Buddie does not respond, your confirmed booking remains unchanged.
